The second-generation C/K Series adds coziness and convenience to its work truck identification. This new model brings fresh exterior design and a lineup of 6-cylinder and V8 engines.


The 1973 Chevrolet C30 One-Ton Duality becomes one of the earliest modern heavy-duty pickup trucks. It is distinguished with a square body and the first radio antenna integrated into the windshield.  


The 1988 Chevy C/K Series enters the model’s fourth generation and brings new, innovative technology with it like Insta-Trac and independent front suspension.


This year debuts the original Chevy Silverado as a standalone model. A new GMT800 platform adds an updated, muscular, aerodynamic design, and a fresh lineup of V8 engines increases its horsepower to 270.


The second generation Silverado 1500 debuts in 2007 and earns the 2007 North American Truck of the Year award at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
